ABOUT TAMMY
Let me tell you what makes me the best at what I do:
A little history about myself:
I found my competitive spirit at a very young age, playing and excelling in sports
year-round. I competed with the boys in basketball and baseball until High
School- often the leading scorer or MVP.
During High School, I traveled throughout the United States playing AAU
basketball and for 3 years traveled to Sweden to participate in the AAU World
Championships. We won all 3 years. What an experience!!
I then went to UNC-Chapel Hill on a full basketball scholarship. After college we
moved to Snow Camp and in the late 90’s we built a home in the NW corner of
Chatham County where we still reside today. Country living gives me the opportunity to enjoy my love for the outdoors and my animals. We have 6 horses and a 130 pound lap dog, named Rocky!!
In 1996, I earned my real estate license and during the last 27 years, I have
helped many families with their real estate needs. I also bought and sold
property for the general contracting company I owned for several years.
I truly do love real estate and helping people reach their real estate dreams. Real
Estate is, has always been, and will always be one of the most important
investments in one’s lifetime. It gives me great pleasure as well as great pride to
know I can make a difference in someone’s life.

Passion:
I am very passionate about what I do. I love that I can help people by helping them with one of the biggest decisions of their lives. I find great pleasure in seeing people reach their dream of owning a home or helping someone sell in order to move onto the next chapter of their life.
I also truly understand how difficult it is to navigate through a devastating divorce, the loss of a loved one and financial difficulties that put your home at risk. I have personally experienced all 3, so when I say I understand, I truly do!!
That’s why I have recently invested time and money for my designations and certifications in Real Estate Collaboration Specialist-Divorce, Certified Probate Real Estate Specialist and a Certified Distress Property Expert. I’ve worked hard to obtain the training and tools necessary to help people make good decisions during the most difficult of times.

The Land Process
If you are looking to buy or sell raw land, you really need a qualified Broker. One who enjoys walking the land in order to understand the boundaries and features the land has to offer. One who knows and understands the survey process, the septic permitting, knows how to read the maps and the necessary steps for the building process. I have bought and sold numerous parcels of land in my career for clients, for my own personal use and as an owner of a construction company for many years. I truly do appreciate and value raw land, after all, they are not making anymore!!!
New Construction
As a previous owner of a General Contracting Company for over 20 years, I have the knowledge and expertise to assist you in the process of building your dream home. From choosing the perfect piece of land, finding that perfect builder and lender, fighting our way through the bureaucratic red tape and then to the closing table, I can at least take some of the stress off your back. You however will have to handle your spouse!!!
