Tammy Sankey Fox, owner and agent of Blu Diamond Real Estate, earned her real estate license in 1996. Since then, she has helped many families with their real estate needs. She also bought and sold property for the general contracting company she owned for several years.
Tammy found her competitive spirit at a very young age, playing and excelling in sports year-round. She competed with the boys in basketball and baseball until High School – and was often the leading scorer or MVP.
During high school, Tammy traveled throughout the United States playing AAU basketball, and for 3 years, traveled to Sweden to participate in the AAU World Championships. Her team won all 3 years. What an experience!
Tammy then went to UNC-Chapel Hill on a full basketball scholarship. After college she moved to Snow Camp, and in the late 90’s, built a home in the northwest corner of Chatham County where she still resides today. Country living gives Tammy the opportunity to enjoy her love for the outdoors and her animals. She has 6 horses and a 130-pound lap dog, named Rocky!
Tammy truly does love real estate and helping people reach their real estate dreams. Real Estate is, has always been, and will always be one of the most important investments in one’s lifetime. It gives her great pleasure as well as great pride to know she can make a difference in someone’s life.
