Homes for Heroes® — Real Savings, Real Gratitude
As a certified Homes for Heroes® Real Estate Specialist, I am proud to give back to the people who serve our communities every day — Firefighters, EMS Professionals, Law Enforcement, Military Members and Veterans, Medical Professionals, and Teachers. This nationwide program was created to say thank you in a very real way: by saving heroes an average of $3,400 when buying or selling a home with a Homes for Heroes specialist like me.

To receive these rewards, you simply need to work with professionals who are part of the program — like me as your real estate agent, and our network of trusted lenders and other affiliates. There are no hidden fees, no gimmicks, and no government tie-ins. Homes for Heroes is not a down payment assistance program, but it can be combined with any type of loan or even local/state assistance programs. It’s simply a genuine gift of gratitude from us to you.

And there’s no limit to how many times you can use the program. Whether you’re buying your first home, selling later, or even investing in multiple properties over the years, you’ll continue to receive your Hero Rewards® every time. That makes it an especially powerful benefit for heroes who are also real estate investors.

The Homes for Heroes Foundation
The Homes for Heroes Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, extends this impact even further. Every transaction helps fund the foundation, which provides grants to local nonprofits that support heroes in need—covering housing, disaster relief, medical expenses, and other critical areas of support.

In 2024, we awarded $180,000 to 21 nonprofit organizations nationwide, making a difference for heroes in their communities.  The Homes for Heroes Foundation also awards Legacy grants. These grants are larger grant amounts, offered over a longer period of time, to help fund a hero organization’s new project or initiative. The first Legacy grant was done in conjunction with Firefighters for Healing and Hennepin Healthcare in Minneapolis. The grant helped fund the addition of a Transitional Healing Center that specifically extended their care to the families of first responders burned in the line of duty.  This means that when you work with me, you’re not only saving thousands on your own real estate transaction—you’re also helping other heroes in need across the country.
